R Flisher Ltd was established in Dymchurch in 1957 by Roy Flisher. He employed local people with the main work we carried out being extensions and new builds.

We have since built a reputation for providing a reliable, trusted construction service with a practical and helpful approach towards our customers. Our knowledge, experience and high-quality workmanship has meant that since the late 1950s we have established a strong client base and secured the majority of our work through ‘word of mouth’ referrals as opposed to general advertising, a fact we are still proud of today.

John Flisher was employed by his father Roy and is a fully qualified carpenter. In 1999, Roy Fisher retired, and John Flisher became the sole director. John now employs over 22 staff members and over 30 subcontractors. Our main work we carry out are still extensions and newbuilds, but we are now also a contractor for insurance works. The company works for many of the large insurance companies as well as private customers. John’s son Russell has worked for the company for over 10 years and is a fully qualified surveyor.

We pride themselves on being a family run business and many of the staff have worked for the company for over 15 years. We work very well to deadlines and completion dates are normally always met.
